That Summer Swing

Oh! Hey!

I was up early this morning catching the waves and thinking about how I'm getting closer and closer to seeing you again. All my best ideas come to me when it's just me and the ocean... not that I have any "ideas" about when I see you. I mean, I have ideas. Dinner, movie, surfing lesson... maybe a few other umm... activities. Nope, can't put that into words.

Oh! I can't spill all the secrets, but, I heard there's some big news coming. You GOTTA watch the Future of Play Direct happening before Summer Games Fest. You might see me there so uh, make sure you come say hi. I was blushing most of the time, but the people at Kitfox said they got my good side. I hope you like it.

Kitfox says my "special ability" is to Swing, which doesn't seem very special to me, but I guess it does help me follow my instincts. If you wield me, we'll easily find the best path towards the most enemies in the dungeon. You'll also get to see Hammer's awesome Death Spiral, and uh, someone else that I'm not allowed to talk about. Their whole existence a big old secret, so I guess I should change the topic now.

ANYWAY AHEM Alexandra also said that the "Behind the Scenes" channel on the Kitfox Discord is now open to everyone so you can see a bunch of surprises and bonus content as the Kitfox crew works on improving Verona Beach.

Marskye and McQueen return

I can't believe it! Marskye and McQueen are working on some new music and the Verona Beach radio played a preview of it! Here is the sample on Soundcloud:

Watch Us Move

Leah and I went to the new dunj to record us fighting some monsters (Don't worry they weren't real creatures and they don't feel pain). I'm not super comfortable with my weapon-form, but I think we've known each other long enough to make it okay. Here I am using my Swing. It's like the ocean itself pulls me forward, a tide of energy flowing where I need to be. Even though where I really need to be is in your hands...

And here is Leah the Hammer spinning through every enemy in her path! Once I got to see her skate at the rink, for a tournament. She's so powerful! And focused!

Sometimes I feel like I drift through life like a jellyfish, but that's mostly because there's amazing people like Leah who know what they want and then go out and actually DO it. Like, uh, well she's not a shark. What's like a really nice shark? She probably wouldn't want me to call her a whale... barracuda maybe? Dolphin?! Nah. Let's just drop the fish metaphor.

See you real soon at that Future of Play Direct, I hope. In the meantime I'll try not to miss you too much.
