Hi hi hi!
Wow, already October. Is it chilly where you are? Do you need to borrow my blazer? Oops ignore the coffee stain on it. It's washed, I swear! It just won't come out, ugh. I would try to bleach it but I don't really trust myself with that. Last time I tried, I totally ruined my favorite pants, and I can't afford that again, so.. here we are.
But wait, this is supposed to be a love letter! Aagh! Sorry! Enough laundry talk!
WAY more important: October means it's Halloween time - or at least, where I come from. (It's also exam season at Verona U, but we're going to ignore that part.) Everything turns just a little bit more spooky this month... I can't say I'm a fan, to be honest. I'm NOT a scaredy-blade, I just... prefer warm and cozy to dark and cold, you know?
But I'm VERY TOUGH!! You can trust me in the dunj to fight monsters! As long as they don't make loud noises and jump out from nowhere. Or are zombies. Or are creepy children that crawl on the ceiling. Or have really sharp teeth. Or scream. Or have arms. Or legs. Or have no arms or legs.

Okay I guess I do get scared sometimes, but when I'm by your side I feel like I can do anything. And Halloween isn't JUST about scary things... there's also candy! I have a big sweet tooth... AND the day after Halloween it all goes on sale. Best. Holiday. EVER!

| There's been a lot going on at Kitfox. Have you tried out their new game Lucifer Within Us? It's a short muder mystery game where you play as a digital exorcist. I've been playing with Rowan, who is super mindblown at the whole timeline mechanic, haha. Even though you don't really travel back in time. (Don't tell them I told you this, but their bird is more helpful than they are at solving the cases. Rowan never really understood what I meant by "click the mouse", so... yeah.) |

Victoria, the communications director at Kitfox, won't be helping us send these letters to you anymore, because she's leaving Kitfox for a role at a new studio!
I'm SO happy for her, but... the blades are all going to miss her. She promised she'll still be around to cheer us on though, and I think she has a big crush on Isaac so she definitely won't forget about us. Sigh. Nothing ever stays the same, huh? Things always gotta keep changing.
She will still be on Twitter (@thevtran), and chat on the Kitfox Discord, so you can too if you want, but fingers crossed the next blade letter can introduce a new cool community management person. (They're hiring!) |

Hey all!
So yeah, as you read above (you DO read these completely, right?) - I'm leaving Kitfox for another opportunity that came my way. :(
Kitfox was how I started in games, is responsible for getting me to where I am, and taught me exactly what it meant to be respected and loved by a team. I’m heartbroken to leave, but I know they’ll find someone EVEN BETTER to replace me. :) That’s just how things go.
And, of course, thank YOU for being wonderful. If you were a part of the community - Twitter, Discord, the newsletter, whatever... Thank you for literally making my life incredible, every single day. I know I’m not GONE, in fact, I’m definitely still going to be around, but.. I don’t know, it’s sad, yeknow? I really don’t know how to convey how much you all mean to me.
I can’t wait to tell you where I'm headed next (I'll announce it soon on my Twitter), but for now: thank you letting me by my silly, chaotic, thirsty self with you.
